System Ringing Options

System ringing options allows stations, relays, external pagers, hunt groups, and DID

extensions to have a versatile set of ringing choices by providing alternate ringing

assignments. These ringing assignments are helpful for sending calls to an alternate

attendant during lunch (Day 1) or for automatically setting the system into night mode after

hours. Ringing to these locations can be Direct, Delayed, Day1, Day2, Night, and on specific

days of the week or specific programmed holidays.

This programming procedure is a two step process:

First, you must select the time frames for ringing assignment purposes; these time frames are

standard Ringing Times, Enhanced Ringing Options for specific days of the week, and

Enhanced Ringing Holidays for specific programmed holidays.

Second, for every ringing device (station, relay, external pager, hunt group, DID extensions),

use that device’s Ringing Assignments or Enhanced Ringing menus to choose the line ports

that you want to ring at that particular location during the selected time frames.

Standard Ringing Times

1. From the expanded System menu,

click on System Parameters.

2. Enter the Begin and End Time.

OTE: Use a 24-hour format.

times will apply for every day

of the week.
