E-mail Reader with Interchange

As an optional add-on package to Interchange, Key Voice provides a sophisticated text-to-speech

e-mail reader. With the e-mail reader, a mailbox owner can log in to his/her voice mailbox over

the telephone and select options to “hear” new or saved e-mail messages (in addition to new and

saved voice/fax messages). The e-mail reader voices e-mail message text to the mailbox owner.

The mailbox owner can save, delete, or record a voice message reply to each e-mail message.

Replies are sent as e-mail messages with voice file (.WAV) to the e-mail message originator.

The e-mail reader is sold in 2-port increments up to a maximum of 16 ports (With an 8-port

license, for example, 8 e-mail reading sessions can take place by 8 mailbox owners

simultaneously).

Fax from the Desktop with Small and Corporate Office NT/2000 and Interchange

Certain Key Voice NT/2000-based systems include a printer driver that allows subscribers to fax

documents created in any Windows application directly from their client PC desktops. No

desktop hardware is needed—no modem, no phone line. Inbound and outbound faxes travel

through the PBX voice lines, increasing efficiency and eliminating the expense of dedicated fax

lines.
